We’re a small, friendly private practice in St Budeaux, Plymouth. Owners Clare and Richard are proud to offer a wide range of high-quality dental treatments, conscious sedation and facial aesthetics.
Being a small practice is one of our strengths, as it allows us to get to know you as individuals, enabling us to guide and support you in the decisions regarding your dental health, resolve your unique dental concerns and give tailored advice in the prevention of further problems.

Richard Michael
Owner & Principle Dentist, GDC No: 229549
BEng(Hons) BDS MJDF RCS(Eng) MSc (Rest Dent)
Richard is an approachable dentist who enjoys caring for our patients and supporting them with their oral health. Richard is pleased to offer all aspects of general dentistry but is particularly interested in complex restorations, orthodontics and endodontics. He has completed an MSc in Restorative Dentistry at Peninsula School of Dentistry giving him increased skills in complex treatments.
Clare Beattie
Owner & Principle Dentist, GDC No: 258282
BDS MJDF RCS(Eng) Dip ConSed MSc OralSurg
Clare enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has a particular interest in oral surgery and treating nervous patients. She is calm, patient and sympathetic, and has completed a Diploma in Conscious Sedation in Dentistry which gives her the expertise to give phobic patients the best experience possible.

Louise Collings
Reception & Administrator
Louise began her career in dentistry in her home city of Plymouth in 1987 and qualified in 1991. She worked full time in a couple of practices in Plymouth before moving to North Yorkshire in 1992, where she continued to nurse, before moving to Germany in 1998.
Louise was delighted to return to Plymouth in 2010 as she loves being near the sea. She joined the Pemros team as an administrator in 2017.
Sue Sanders
Reception & Administrator
Sue qualified as a dental nurse in 1988, she worked as a full time nurse in a couple of dental practices in Plymouth before joining Pemros Dental Practice in 1994. Sue had a few years off to raise her family, keeping up her study and qualifications while she was away. Sue now works for the practice on reception and providing administrative support.
Sarah Foran
Dental Nurse, GDC no. 158401
Sarah began her career in dentistry as a dental receptionist at the age of 16, which soon lead her to become a nurse in a single handed practice in Saltash. Since then, Sarah has worked at a few other practices before finally joining the Pemros team in 2008. Always taking great pride in her work, Sarah’s experience and qualifications help to ensure that your visit will be made as relaxed and comfortable as possible, every time.
Shariq Ali
Dental Hygienist, GDC no.
Shariq joined the team in May 2025. Originally from Pakistan, he is a fully qualified dentist with a strong clinical background and a genuine passion for patient care. Shariq is currently studying towards a masters degree in business alongside working as our dental hygienist.
Poppy Burchett
Trainee Dental Nurse
Poppy joined the team in early 2025 and is currently studying at Cornwall College St Austell to gain her Level 3 Dental Nursing Diploma. Poppy enjoys assisting our clinicians with all aspects of dentistry, particularly enjoying endodontics treatments.
Ele Braund
Trainee Dental Nurse
Ele joined the team in May 2025 and is studying part time at Exeter College towards a Level 3 Dental Nursing Practitioner Diploma alongside working here at Pemros. Ele enjoys working with all of our clinicians and supporting patients throughout their treatments.
